The benefits of Pilates are far-reaching. Through the development and maintenance of the entire system of body mind and spirit, participants can both literally and figuratively, walk taller.  Pilates can really make a difference to your health without putting too much strain or force on the body. Focusing on breath in all types of movement is vital. Pilates teaches ways of using the breath for relaxation and lowering blood pressure, and to activate specific muscles to aid in improved posture.
