"Denise provided Pilates classes to our squads while our sport was out of action during the lockdown. Pilates itself is great for injury prevention and strengthening some of the muscles that might get neglected in our regular gym sessions. 

We had a wide range of members take part, both young and old, and Denise was able to structure all the sessions, so everyone got something out of them. Many of the participants have now found a new way of training from the classes and are continuing sessions with Denise as a result, so we would highly encourage individuals/teams to give it a go!"

A totally new concept for our water polo athletes, parents and committee members but one that they have thoroughly enjoyed. The aim of offering Pilates to our Water Polo Members was to encourage them to take up a new form of exercise that could be done by all of the family, in the comfort of their own home, all the while improving on their core strength, stability, and flexibility. All of which are very important factors for playing the game of water polo. Denise caters for all ages and abilities, her clear guidance, expert knowledge and diverse routines makes an enjoyable programme for all involved. This is something we will be continuing into the future with Denise and something we hope to introduce at our National Team level too.
